Street names shall be determined by planning commission resolution. The planning commission shall review the proposed street names for duplication of names, appropriateness of names, and for overall compliance with the street naming and numbering policy. The planning commission may modify or amend the street name proposed on a plat as it deems necessary in order to bring it into compliance with the street naming and numbering system.
