It is unlawful for any person in the city to sell or offer to sell dangerous fireworks for any purpose unless they are a licensed wholesaler and meet all of the requirements set out in AS 18.72 et seq. In addition, any licensed wholesaler desiring to sell fireworks within the city of Bethel must first obtain written consent from the fire chief, the chief of police and the city manager. Violation of this section is an infraction and is subject to a one thousand dollar ($1,000) fine for each individual violation.
